On Wednesday and Thursday, 8 Cadets and Volunteers participated in our Assistant Instructors course. This course was the first stepping stone in the journey to becoming Dinghy Instructors. All did extremely well and we are happy to say that everybody passed. Well done to Harry, Kya, Charlie, Matthew, Matthew, Corsara, Jenny and Phil!
On the 23rd June 2018, Horizons will be participating in the Eddystone Charity Pursuit. This is a 26 mile sail to the Eddystone Lighthouse and back. The volunteers went for our weekly training sail last night (Wednesday 23rd) and although it wasn’t very windy, this meant that we could practice our light wind sailing and improve our techniques. Even Oreo, Horizons mascot had a lovely sail too!

Thursday evening brought another successful evening on the water for our club session.
