2018 Mayflower Marina Prize

2018 Mayflower Marina Prize

Horizons would like to congratulate Delilah and Jack who were this years recipients of the Mayflower Marina prize. Last night Charles Bush, Managing Director, presented them with their awards.

Both Delilah and Jack have shown the true spirit of Horizons by encouraging other young people to get out on the water during our club sessions.

Delilah has made lots of friends at Horizons and they all love going out sailing together. Delilah has accompanied many of our new cadets on the Hawk 20’s and helped to put them at ease, we cant work out if its because of the  Ginger Nuts she brings or just because she is amazingly friendly!

Jack is always willing to help and has taken lots of our cadets out in dinghies this year. He loves sailing our Fevas and taking people out with him. He is always happy to help, and has also started volunteering during our School Sailing Project.

Our thanks go to both Jack and Delilah, who both win a voucher to spend with one of our long term supporters and suppliers,

Our thanks also go to Mayflower Marina for supporting us throughout the season and for sponsoring the award.

Congratulations!
