Sailing during the winter is not always a great experience, so we run a winter programme for our youngsters with lots of exciting activities.

The Winter Project was set up to enable our Children to continue coming to Horizons when the weather does not let us go sailing. This is run like a youth group where the children can choose which activity they would like to do each week.

The activities typically include: Bowling, Trampolining, Rock Climbing, Forest School, and more. We aim to keep to a nautical theme when possible – so visits to the RNLI, Coastguard Helicopter and Princess Yachts are also very popular with the children too.

If you would like more information about the Winter Project, or have any ideas as to what your children might like to do, please contact Lois on 01752 605800 or email lois@horizonsplymouth.org.
